The customs and traditions of Indigenous Native American spirituality are embodied in the principles and by-laws of ONACWestLA. Our church was officially sanctioned by the National Oklevueha Native American Church.  We abide by the principles of spirituality that has long been recognized as part of the indigenous culture of the Western Hemisphere.

 

ONAC was granted exclusive federal laws that recognize our long-established spiritual ceremonies. These federal laws also protect our church grounds, sacraments and traditions. These are cascaded down to all our ONAC members. It applies to all church members, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender, national origin and sexual orientation,  as long as they were blessed by an independent ONAC church, federally-recognized or not.

 

ONAC make use of Grandmother Earth’s minerals and plant life to commune with the spirit world.
